Tess Gerristen's popular mystery book series, has been made into a TV series. I love Gerristen's books and will soon review one of the Rizzoli and Isles early series books.
Today though is for the tv show dvd set season one. Angie Harmon is Jane Rizzoli, a tough and talented Boston police detective. Sasha Alexander is the chief medical examiner, Doctor Maura Isles, Isles is more girlie and softer then Rizzoli. Also they come from very different backgrounds, Rizzoli is from a middle class hard working italian family, Isles was adopted by rich parents that sent her aboard for her schooling. It's their differences that form the chemistry that makes this show work. Angie and Sasha are both perfect for their roles. I enjoyed rewatching the whole season. If you are a fan of Rizzoli and Isles you should get this dvd set. Also if you are a fan of Rizzoli and Isles and haven't read the series you need to. They are very good books.

Haven season 1 blu-ray review
Syfy channel's Haven season 1 was released earlier this month and, I enjoyed the blu-ray set. Many of the episodes of the show have commentary by either the cast or by the director and producers.
Haven is based on Stephen King's Colorado Kid. Haven is centered around Audrey Parker(Emily Rose), she is a FBI agent who on an assignment to pick up an escaped felon she goes to Haven, Maine but, once she gets there her felon is dead and the murder looks weird. She is also given a article picture of the Colorado Kid which a woman in the picture looks like Audrey. She was raised in an orphanage so for the possibility this being her mother really appeals to Audrey. Audrey joins the Haven PD and partners with local detective Nathan Wuoros(Lucas Bryant), Nathan can't feel any pain. Audrey and Nathan solves weird cases involving usually people with special power called the troubles. In many cases, they have encounters with local smuggler, Duke Crocker(Eric Balfor) which is interesting character that has good connection with both Nathan and Audrey in many scenes.
I am looking forward to season 2 starting in July.

Alice Madness Returns Review
Alice Madness Returns is a dark version of Alice in Wonderland. Alice must fight strange creatures in wonderland. This game has a good story line and good platformer gameplay.
